Guest guest
Fortunately and unfortunately I had the painful learning experience of Tyler in our home school district, where I was still learning these skills. In addition, I do give much credit to ASDB - they undoubtedly have different resources than the public school, and to Dylan's Intervener who really does " get it " . Thanks for the vote of confidence. Kim > Kim, > you are so fortunate that Dylan has the wonderful, accepting and > accommodating environment at the Arizona Schools for the Deaf and Blind. Guest guest
We would have sent to ASDB in a heartbeat because of our great friend (especially 's), MacFarland. Unfortunately, at the last moment (no doubt due to political things because of ongoing legal battles here in Missouri), they declined to accept her. It turned out to be a blessing since she spent her first years at Perkins with truly horrid and constant ear infections, and ASDB send sick kids home. Still, I liked so much of what I saw! Guest guest
I love . She works at the U and some of her students have worked with Dylan. She was instrumental in Dylan having his first Intervener when he was 2, she was one of her students and came to the house. We are lucky we live in Tucson, so we have not needed the residential component. Kim > We would have sent to ASDB in a heartbeat because of our great friend > (especially 's), MacFarland.
