Guest guest
Sondra, I have a question and hope you don't mind my asking. When you say that sometimes the words are hard to understand, is it easier to understand if things are explained in a different way? My daughter will often say, What do you mean? or What does that mean? If I go a lot slower and explain each idea using something she can relate to she then understands and doesn't get so confused and frustrated. Would that be easier than reading a book on biomedical treatments alone? Maybe you could have someone read it with you and explain the difficult or confusing parts as you go? I am sure many people would be happy to read and learn with you if that would help. Michele
Guest guest
Valentina, do you to be with autism? how did you to be to learn the words and to understand them enough to do them . I to be to rote back scripted things but often lack the meaning of them. So I to know I to be able to share much on things but lack in follow through because I to lack the knowing of what it to mean in the areas of biomedical. Guest guest
Many words I can be to read but have no exposure to them so have no clue to what I to read. Often when others to speak their words might have multiple meanings and I to be not always able to understand in which way it was meant. I to be literal and get lost in the concepts. I to not get idioms or metaphors unless I to be the composer of them. Sometimes my CAPD is way off and the words simple get jumbled on the way in and it is as though some words float like glitter in my vision and I to not be to hear the words but muffled gibberish that makes no sense to me. I to be to just lose interest in the listening to them, some voice tones to be of this to me too. Simply cant process the voice tones and some to be some what painful to me and I to avoid them for their voice tones alone. I to process things better to read them but do need visual pictures to show me what the words to mean. Like one could be to describe blue to me but will not process blue unless shown the actual color. Then my brain gets the concept this is blue. But then for me blue is always blue and nothing else could be blue except the blue I was first exposed too. I to hope this to make sense.
