Guest guest
We have been using the UDS Template for the sign-in sheet. We still use our electronic document for the plan of care, goals etc. I did have an additional question regarding team conference composition. It seems unclear in the final rule as to whether PTA's and COTA's can attend/report at team conferences. How are all of you interpreting this? ________________________________ From: PTManager [mailto:PTManager ] On Behalf Of Stoddart, Lori Sent: Thursday, January 14, 2010 2:18 PM To: 'PTManager ' Subject: IRF question Is anyone using the UDS template for their interdisciplinary Team Conference? Did anyone revise their Team Conf document as a result of the Final Rule? If yes, in what way? Guest guest
In all my conversations with other IRF Administrators/Managers and the info from various CMS webinars, the answer is no for Assistants. Guest guest
, It was made clear in the CMS clarification documents that assistants can not be the primary reporter in team conference it must be the therapist. The was nothing said about assistants being at the conference just that the therapists must be there. Deane W.
