Can anyone suggest a good brand for tmg or dmg besides kirkman (we've had some issues w/ kirkman)? Thanks!

MB12 shots helped us alot with speech. DMG was also helpful but made my son hyper and cranky. TMG was also beneficial.

We have been using DMG since June and my son has become much more verbally fluid and is now very expressive (in the normal range, he just turned 5 last month). He was verbal before but we seen great gains since we have been using it.

His reversal of "I" and " "you" stopped 1 week after starting DMG and has been gone ever since!!!We use Kirkman's liquid, they have a small tester size so you can try it out.

We've used dmg for quite a while here. But my son had language before we started it....I was hoping it might help his expressive language along - which has grown tremedously over the past 6-8 months. I can't say for sure it's the DMG. But it's inexpensive, easy to take and worth a shot. Food Science of Vermont makes a liquid DMG. Good stuff. If you don't find results with DMG, try TMG before you give up altogher. (Difference being, one has an extra methyl donor). TMG is less expensive if you prefer to start with it, then work up to the more expensive if you don't see results. I've never really heard of any negative reactions to either, but as I understand, it is not recommended if your child is a known "overmethylator" (even that is debatable, depending on who you ask. The one place that's done more research on the subject than probably anyone else, goes against popular

theory). Good luck!

Our son has limited speech. He can be prompted to say almost anything but he has very little spontaneous speech. We heard DMG has helped some children increase expressive language. Does anyone have any experience with this or any other supplements that have worked?
