Guest guest
I'm certainly all for increased organ supply. By the way, I heard on the news today that Neil Simon, the playwright, got a kidney transplant. He's 76. Kidney donated by his friend and publicist. The Odd Couple is one of my all-time favourite movies. When it was a new release in the theaters, I think in 1969, I remember I went to see about 5 times. I remember the survival rates posted by the US government are pretty grim. I think about them all the time. > > Although these numbers do indeed reflect the high mortality rate associated with diabetes, we can't forget the importance of the increasing the available organ supply. Many people have suggested that donation should be an " opt out " rather than " opt in " basis. There's important political work that needs to be done. > > There! It's not a script that anyone of us would have auditioned for, but it's certainly better than the alternatives. > > >
Guest guest
Me too. Another favourite of mine is " The Goodbye Girl " , with Marsha Mason and Dreyfus. I've never seen any of the stage versions though. Pierre Re: Neil Simon - was Life expectancy on dialysis? I love everything Neil Simon did/does. Rita Nucciarone Ritanuch@...
