Guest guest
Andy I would love to give Vit A but my guy is so highly allergic to fish - and I know the other source of VitA is not good for the brain. Do you have any suggestions other than Cod Liver Oil? Many thanks TerriNZ [ ] Re: Weaning off Risperdal > >> In a message dated 10/9/02 2:57:24 PM Central Daylight Time, >> AndyCutler@a... writes: >> >> >> > I also suggest using vitamin A 500-1000 IU per pound per day to >change >> > his dopamine sensitivity in a positive manner. >> > >> >> How does vitamin A change dopamine sensativity? Guest guest
, I use Twin Labs Allergy A and buy it at www.iherb.com. It is fish and corn free and is quite cheap. I wanted a good source of Vitamin A minus the Vitamin D in CLO. I still give some CLO but want to keep the vitamin D so the main of his Vitamin A source is from the allergy A. He had planter's warts on his little toe for years and they disappeared with in 2 weeks of starting high dose vitamin A therapy. Guess it really is anti-viral! Guest guest
and I know the other source of VitA is not good for the brain. Is this correct. My son is taking A Palmitate. Each tab contains 10,000 IUs, the fish oil ones only have 2500- 3000. I would have to give hime too many to make the recommended dose. Thanks. The only form that is a problem is " vitamin A " as carotenes, since carotenes really are NOT vitamin A, but may legally be called vitamin A. Andy . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . In fact, didn't the makers of Dari Free recently change their formulation to exclude Vit A palmitate? Why is that? > I was also under the impression that the benefit of CLO was in the availability of the cis form of Vitamin A, and not necessarily the omega fatty acids that it provides. If most forms of vitamin A are fine, and you supplement with flax oil, or fish oil, then is CLO really necessary at all? It is not. Some find it convenient, but it is not necessary. .. . . . > > Sheryl > > > > >
