Adrenal insufficiency is vary rare, so you do not have it. I remember thinking all mylife they were so losy wiht thyroid, they are all Diabetes specialists. But guess what, I am Diabetic now and they are lousy for THAT as well! What good are they? He wouldnt order the acth test because it wasnt warrented...but why do they call me trying to PUSH mammograms, colonoscopys, vaccines and mri's? The thing that hurts is, I was so polite, and I didnt act like I knew anything, and I wasnt aggressive. Write to all the endos on your insurance list. Tell them about your problems and your low test results. Ask them if they treat adrenal fatigue and are willing to run the tests you want. You will probably get few responses, but you might find one who is willing to at least listen to you. Writing is better that going on a lot of useless appointments. I think the fact that I am on coumpounded t3 only, was a red flag to them that I was unconventional. They are in the business of fighting against unconventional. He was very disrespectful about natural medicine and the internet..and he also gave me back all my tests proving my point..he didnt keep them in my chart...he said he was going tp type up a report that said they see no reason to test for adrenal insufficiency.
