Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to report that I've been using the Solo Glucose Meter for a month now and love it. I've found the readings to be pretty accurate. Was able to download my numbers using the software that solo has. All I had to do was load the software and then I connected my solo meter via a mini USB cable to my computer and the meter walked me right through the process. I printed out the reports and took them with me when I visited my Endo on June seventh. He said that the numbers reflected what the A1c said so I was very pleased about that. I did have a little trouble at the beginning getting a pharmacy that my insurance would work with for the meter strips and lancet needles but with the Help of the customer service at Solo we got that worked out. Also a thanks to Gray for his help also. He put me in touch with the person I needed to talk with at Solo to get things resolved. I'm getting my meter supplies from the Mini Pharmacy in Los Angeles. Anyone else use them? I love how easy it is to recheck the number that the meter announces to just make sure I heard the number right. I kind of keep the sound on the low side so that it doesn't announce it to everyone when I'm out. I have my Prodigy Voice for a back up in case I ever need it but really prefer the Solo. I started taking my Byetta with me when I thought I might be eating out and have been giving myself the shots in the lower stomach under the table. I also carry the meter in the really nice hard case that comes with the meter. I like it has a compartment for everything the meter, a slot for the strips and even one for the little lancet that they give you. The lancet is nice also because of the smaller size and is easier to hold onto. Thanks to for letting us know about this meter. I've talked with on the Phone and he is very nice and extremely helpful. Ricky Joe
