Guest guest
Diane, We don't have a cardiac program, but do run a coag clinic. There is some software the nurses use in conjunction with physician orders to determine correct dosing and/or changes. I don't know if our nurses are RNs or LPNs. I believe that the Medical Staff was involved in the decision making and agreed to our process. I would think the Cardiologist and/or Medical Staff would be similarly involved in a Cardiac Program. As far as I know the software is commercially available. We have positive feedback from doctors and patients. Let me know if you need me to get the name of the software - they are not there now :-) Take Care, Wade Wade McDowell, OTR, AIT Assistant Nursing Home Administrator Director Inpatient Rehabilitation Services Family Health West PO Box 130 228 North Cherry Fruita, CO 81521 Phone: Fax: _____ From: PTManager [mailto:PTManager ] On Behalf Of Diane Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 1:53 PM To: ptmanager Subject: Protime Clinic Does anyone in the hospital setting provide a Protime Clinic through their Cardiac Rehab program.
