Chrystee,

What type of goat milk did you use?

(exactly what does the carton say?)

Just trying to see if we can figure out a correlation for those who

end up with thin yogurt.

I use Caprine Estates goat milk. My yogurt turns out the

consistency of a milk shake (before dripping). It gets nice and

thick if it is dripped.

I don't usually drip it and I just blend some fruit in it and my boys

eat it with spoon.

It's Oak Knoll Grade A Pasterized whole goat milk. So it's not ultra

Pasteurized which is good.

Maybe my starter is weak? I can't imagine that with the reputation

Custom Probiotics has. I keep it in the freezer and it came with an

ice pack in the box.

It's definately thinner than a milkshake, but thicker than just milk.

I will use it in smoothies anyhow so I guess it doesn't matter much.

It just takes a lot less room after I drip it and Sam is more likely

to eat it with a spoon if it is thicker.

thanks
