We haven't had his iron or zinc levels tested (these may be unrelated to pulling out the lashes) but we are planning on asking for them when we see the DAN Dr this week. Guest guest
I sometimes get into an eye-lash (and eyebrow) pulling episode. It is definitely a stress-response and it's one of those "hurts so good" physical feelings. It feels like the root of the eye lash is itchy and painful and only pulling it out will relieve that sensation. It is linked to OCD and is called trichotillomania. Guest guest
really high....we only had him tested recently and it came back at 2.89. He is only 3.5yo. We are going to see the DAN dr tomorrow. Could HHV6 be causing the problem as well. we started giving him calcium again a few days ago and he is stilling pulling his lashes. Not as much but he is still pulling.
