Guest guest
I really like the research of Dr Goldberg. And I believe that my son has the immune dysfunction that he calls NIDS. For me, it is too hard to think of my son taking all those meds you are talking about!! So I started with a classical Homeopath last April. My son is progressing slowly, but I hope for more! My Homeopath believes that my son has an abnormal immune system. I told her about the work of Dr Goldberg. She is against giving medication (like me), but she doesn't mind natural supplements. I read an article about Balancing the Immune System (http://www.ei-resource.org/articles/chronic-fatigue-syndrome-articles/dr.-chene\ y:-balance-the-immune-system-(th1%10th2)-/) . In this article Dr Cheney mentioned a number of meds and supplements that may help balancing the immune system. One of these supplements is (Pine cone extract). I would really appreciate if somebody can help me to know Dr Goldberg's opinion about this extract. TIA

Guest guest
Dr. Goldberg does not do naturals/supplements. About the only things he does (at least when I saw him) was iron, multivitamin (flintstones - red and blues removed or other regular type but not the "natural" ones like the kind you would find at Trader Joes or Whole Foods), occasionally primrose oil and he's very particular about any protein supplement (he only allowed 2 different brands when I asked). Oh, and he's good with kyodophilis or other low strains probiotic. He doesn't like probios with more than say 3 strains (I think that's what it was, it's been a while). He does allow limited use of melatonin. Other than that (and maybe a few more I don't know about) he does not approve of supplements.
