Guest guest
I would like to add that I called his office for an appt. and was informed that the fee for an initial consultation would be about $595 and would gradually go down to about $295 with each subsequent visit. " Why pay someone to disagree with, when I can disagree for free " quote from either Moria, Dana or . From: JAY GOLDWEIN <GETINLINE@...> Date sent: Mon, 28 Oct 2002 19:58:30 -0800 (PST) Subject: [ ] Dr. Bock Send reply to: [ Double-click this line for list subscription options ] Hi, Dr. Bock uses IV Glutathione which some on this list find to be unnecessary and dangerous. As the ABA supervisor of a child who received IV Glutathione from Dr. Bock's clinic, I can attest to the fact that three months after the IV, he appeared to me to have regressed about a year in his functioning (increased hyperactivity and self-stims and decreased overall use of language with much poorer articulation). Dr. Bock's brother, the director of the clinic, treated me for mercury (for 1 month until I began to read this listserve). Though he knew that I still had some amalgam fillings left in my mouth (I was in the process at the time of removing a great deal of amalgam in my mouth), he gave me the clinic's product that contained both chlorella and alpha lipoic acid which I used for a few weeks until I read some and knew better. As of today, the Rhinebeck Health Center's website still has an page about the treatment of heavy metal toxicity which suggests a possible protocol of using 500 mg. of DMSA every other day (although I think it is unlikely that they still use this protocol). Enough said.

Guest guest
hi. I have 2 instances that have formed my opinion on the Bocks. the second is quite emotional. I started taking my son to see Dr Bock at Rhinebeck Health Center (Ken's brother). He was useless. He gave me no feedback, hardly said a word during our 5 minute appointment and then charged $300. He did not help explain anything to me( I was new at all this at the time) and was very slow at doing anything to help my son. I had to suggest tests and when I asked for nystatin because we knew he had a bad yeast problem he said " lets wait " . Well, I dont think these kids have time to wait. I think the sooner we act the better. After a few visits we found a new dr in NJ (a 2 hr. drive but worth it). At the same time, my mothr-in-law went to see Dr Ken Bock because she was feeling ill and didnt know why. He told her she was allergic to gluten and had a yeast problem- sound familiar? He completely missed the fact that she was very anemic and in stage 3 of bone cancer. If he had treated her as an individual and not just rushed her off maybe he could've helped her instead of wasting her precious time.
