He sounds in good spirits, and was happy to say that we'll be 'neighbors' around June sometime! He will be moving (he had forgotten the name) to a nursing home up in Long Island, NY, which is relatively close to my County of Westchester, NY. He is having minor surgery on his, um...bum tomorrow, to lance a boil/infection. They will drain it, clean it and stitch it. They are treating his bladder infection, as well as an eye infection and various other things he picked up while in the rehab center. Once he is all healed from everything, he'll go back to rehab, then eventually come up to NY. How horrible that he developed so many secondary infections while in nursing "care." Sadly, this is not unusual for those who go into hospitals or rehab centers. At least he is in good spirits.
