Guest guest
My son is 8 years old and we've been at bio-med for just over 3 years now. We've had good success with just about everything but there is still a lot of progress to be made. We have not done a serious chelation protocol yet as we have focused on the immune system as a whole, getting it healthy and functioning and detoxing on it's own. My specific question relates to my son's hair test and primary teeth analysis results as they pertain to mercury. My son does NOT meeting the counting rules per Andy Cutler so my understanding is that the results from the hair analysis are generally true - am I understanding that correctly? My son's mercury on the hair analysis test registered at .03 (reference range is .40). Secondly, I had one of his primary teeth analyzed for mercury and they were no traces of mercury found in the sample. Coproporphyrins I, III [CP] were high and his Environmental Toxin load was through the roof (ie benzene, tolulene, xylene etc.) On the surface I should be relieved about this however with metals and chemicals so perverse in our environment, I have a hard time believing that my son has little to no mercury running around in his body. Has anyone else here had similar results? Were they correct or is there other testing I should pursue? BTW, I was part of the mercury-autism group for a while but I found the negativity and harshness with each other too much to bear everyday so I'm not inclined to join that group right now as I need to keep my own frame of mind in the right place for my son. If anyone has any experience with a similar situation or any suggestions, I would much appreciate hearing your ideas. Thanks!
