Guest guest
Cassy I am sorry to hear about your Grandma. Most cancers are there usually for 10 yrs before you can feel them. How are they figuring only 4 yrs? I had 23 nodes removed and one was positive for cancer. I had 6 mo of chemo and no radiation. My tumor was 2.5cm not sure how many inches that would be. Be sure to have her get a second opinion on chemo and radiation because some chemo can cause problems with the heart plus it always good to have a second opinion. She will be in my prayers as well as you and your family. Guest guest
Cassy, Don't apologize for being MIA, you certainly have more important things to worry about. I'm sorry to hear of the health of your Gramma. Cancer is an evil thing. Has she not been having yearly checkups? How did they miss it if she has, especially since she has had cancer before? I'm sorry if I sound a little leary of doctors, my husbands side of the family has not had good luck with them when it comes to diagnosing things in time. I hope that they are able to help her, but I do understand her not wanting the chemo and radiation. Sometimes the treatment can be worse than the disease itself. Ultimately it will be her decision to make. I will pray for her and you and your family. Please let us know. I hope you are able to visit with her soon. Guest guest
Hi Peggy. Thanks!Well, this is her 1st time with cancer.I hate that word.I swear whenever I hear it I cringe.Dont worry.I dont have much faith in docs either and my g-ma has her thoughts on em as well.lol.I dont get it.She has had mamograms.Im not sure when her last was before this.I know it was only suppose to take a lil over a wk. For the biopsy report to come back,it ended up taking 15 days!We are trying to be positive til the lymph node biopsy. How are you?hugz, cassy Cassy, Don't apologize for being MIA, you certainly have more important things to worry about.
