VITAMIX... Anyone else have trouble with theirs

We spent hundreds on a Vitamix thinking it would make cooking easier. It gets

hot and stinks when I make vegan cheese cake or churn up some dates. I'm

following directions. Do I have a lemon, or are they lame?

I love my Vitamix and use it every day. The manufacturer stands behind their

unit so I'd call and ask about what you have experienced. BTW mine gets warm

when making really thick things, I just shut it off or lower the speed to take

the stress off the motor.

I agree with Carla, call them!  We suffered like you with our Vitamix for a few months until we called their support line and they were so helpful at pointing out what we were doing wrong and giving us some great tips.  Now we know a lot more about using it and we love it.

I agree with Carla, call them!  We suffered like you with our Vitamix for a few months until we called their support line and they were so helpful at pointing out what we were doing wrong and giving us some great tips.  Now we know a lot more about using it and we love it.
