I use Lauricidin, that is all I have used...and no, no strong opinion as I have

nothing to compare it to.

I use it in addition to his " fiber " drink. I can't tell you if it's worked,

however, his cdiff came back neg, the second time we tested.

Hi there,

We tried Lauricidin but my boys couldn't swallow the pellets so we use monolaurin now. Empty the capsule and suck it up with liquid.

Casandra, You are exactly right. My 3 yr old wouldn't drink it w/pellets (too

weird) -- but my brother (25 yrs old) had no issues. (I just told them it was a

part of his drink and to slam it back...)

I kept my son on Caproyl - (Liquid) w/fiber. I did this instead of the

Lauricidin. Caproyl is also derived from coconut.

I can't say which one worked better, as they both (my son and brother) have

progressed quite well.

From what I understand, they would act similar Lauricidin and the Caproyl. (and

I might be wrong) :)
