Guest guest
What do u put in juicer. And what brand juicer do u use?Sent from my iPod Hey Soraya, Yes, we got ours compounded (liquid), because neither my brother or son can do pills. I have the spec sheet if you want it. We saw results in 3 weeks (I was losing hope, and then all the sudden, my kid started eating broccoli, and lots of it. He was a child that I had to juice veg into his juicer juice hidden in lots of fruits). Rob, my brother, it was within a week. Rob has no picky-ness now -- he'll eat just about anything I put in front of him. Jimmy is up to 15 vegetables now, and we noticed he is taking in less sweet fruit. (I do not limit fruits, if he wants it, he can have it, because he was underweight for a long time. "Kids have to eat" - is my philosophy.) His diet is wonderful now. He drinks his water freely, and he actually gets it himself now -- and less juice. (I used to put drops of lemon juice and a 1/4 tsp of sugar to get him to drink water! - Lets just say I was a little desperate.) Here is a link for zinc monomethionine. Yes, this is the most bio-available one. Here is the one I would use if I didn't get it compounded - and the reason is, it doesn't contain copper. A lot of these supps do. The compounded one is about $20. and it lasts about a month and a half. I also hide it in his juicer juice, so the compounded version works well for me. http://www.energeticnutrition.com/vitalzym/zinc.html Google it. There are a lot of very interesting articles about zinc and it's role in several functions of the body. After my DAN suggested it, and I started using it, we got really great results just in the form of eating, but the interesting part is, now, Jimmy (my son) will try anything, he definitely is interested in other foods and what others are eating (which also might be age, he turned 3 in Jan). We are still supplementing, but he is eating steak now, so I am not sure how much longer I will supplement, but for now, I have moved him to a 1/2 dose, and he is still going strong. We test again in July. I was thinking I might want to test sooner...My goal is to get him off the supplement, but I am not opposed to adding it (again) to his bio-available multi and that being long term -- as I don't believe that food can contain all the vitamins we need (and that is another long story!). One more thing, if he is limited to like 5 things (like my kid was) -- after 3 weeks I was ready to jump ship. I would do two things differently. (you know, talk to your DAN first!) First, I would up his dose for a week, and second I would split it during the day -- and not give it all at once. I really think if I had done this, I would have had results faster. I personally, think that smaller doses more often would be far more effective. I hope this helps. > > > > > > > > > Good evening. > > > > > > My son has been having problems in the past month with occasional > > blood in > > > his stool.
