Is he verbal? Has he said why he is doing it? Is it possibly a tic/strep

related?

My 22 month old has been doing this. I recently increased his methylaid, which

contains a lot of B vitamins, but also his brother has a possible case of strep

right now, so I'm going to also have him cultured in case it is a tic.

fingers in his mouth. I'm puzzled by this. He's not on any perscription meds but

he does take nutritional supplements. Could this be some sort of side effect? A

viral problem? A deficiency? Thryoid related?

yes .. he's verbal (dx is PDDNOS) but I've noticed tongue twisting thing is worsening lately.. I see more behaviors surfacing (like giggling, silliness, hyper). Even some toe walking and flapping when excited which he didn't do too much before.

I gave him Threelac just a few times recently could this have triggered it? I had his blood drawn and they are testing for strep but I have not yet seen the results. I hope I didn't aggravate strep.

These kids are soooo sensitive.. I worry about doing anything that triggers new behaviors.
