Guest guest
Alice, It is good to hear from you, I am glad to hear you are healing after your surgery. I look forward to hearing more from you. Zephyr Re: Digest Number 387 Just want to make sure I get to wish everyone here a Happy, healthy, peaceful, safe and OP Losing New Year. Congrats to all of the great losses that I've read. To those who have made their goals- I would do the happy dance, but knee wont allow me yet. LOL Welcome back to those who have returned from your ädventures " . Hope all that have not been feeling well or troubled by a " problem " are now feeling 150%. To those like me, who have had a hard time for a bit, tomorrow is the beginning of a new year, and I am going to do my best to get back in there as much as I can. I had lost almost 38 lbs before I went for my knee surgery and since then havent been able to stay OP the way I would have liked, and of course, have not been able to do any exercising. The stitches come out on Wed and hopefully, I will be able to get moving soon. Didn't expect this so wasn't able to make my christmas goal as had to be as little weight bearing as I could since beginning of October :-( Also, Kim- I am a recovering smoker- Husband and I stopped 2 years and 1 month ago. Wasn't easy but it can be done. You already know a lot of the benefits of quitting so I wont repeat the obvious here, but I do have to tell you, that there are basically only two things that keep me from going back- 1) I have made myself put the money we used to spend every month into a separate bank account, and you just cant imagine how that adds up- 2) Its way too expensive now for both of us to go back. Of course, there are all the health reasons also- that and my other 2 reasons makes it easier not to go back when the temptation hits, which still happens at times, but it does pass. Oh well, enough of my long story- sorry only wanted to send wishes to all for the new year. I keep on hoping to be able to sit here longer and answer each one of you, but still too uncomfortable. My best to each and every one of you. Alice-NY
