Initially, when I joined thatgroup, Sharon encouraged me to join this group right away but I didnot because I know I am an inconsistent poster at best, and this groupis more personal. So I did not want to let any individual down by notholding up my end of a conversation. I am working full time at a stressful job, and am trying to retrain tochange that situation before I lose all my sick time and go ondisability as that would probably mean losing our home. So I am takingcourses too. It's hard but I am not giving up. So I don't allot timeto pay much attention to my egroups unless I am in the middle of ahealth crisis, so for me the group is a resource. I'm 53 (as of 2/28),I live with my 2nd husband of 15 years and my older sister, who is anacupuncturist. I work in transportation planning and am studying toget back into techie work instead of such political and public work. Iwould like to get back into making maps, something I did a long timeago. I am trying to lose about 20 pounds gained over the last 2-3years of increased sedentary lifestyle and when I have the ability, Ihave resumed jogging (v-e-r-y slowly) to music again, which I used tolove to do. I am very involved and have responsibility in myspiritual group (an activist Buddhist sect), but certainly, this is toexplain who I am and not to get into a philosophical online discussion:-) :-) :-) I have two dogs Sophie and Benjie, and two cats,Jimmycarter and Chaka, and a 30 year old son in Miami (my home town).I am expecting to be a grandmother for the first time the end ofAugust. My son is everything to me so this adds another layer ofintensity to this time in my life.Having said that, when I read, I will certainly help if I can! Iposted to the MSHealth group about finding a particular neurologistand Sharon encouraged me again that there might be more folks on thisgroup to ask, so this time I joined. So see how selfish I am? Anyway, I will post that in my next email along with info about mymedical situation.
