Whoops!

I didn't mean to send that message to EVERYONE on my WW list.

But, since I have, Zephyr is the proud new Mom of a little boy, Skyler. Ami

is the birth mother.

Zephyr and her family are enjoying their Christmas gift. =-)

The only thing about being a foster parent is you'll get so attached to them and it will be hard to give them up. My parents were foster parents to a girl and boy ages 6 & 4. It was very hard giving them up.

Kim,

So far Skyler is our only, we tried for 7 years and nothing. He came to us through a client who has adopted two of his siblings. His birth mother had her tubes tied the next day so we will put our name on a waiting list for another one. we will have an open adoption as long as it remains good for Skyler. I am giving thought now to maybe being a foster mom for the infants as they are waiting for placement. Our situation was so unusual even the birth mom says we were meant for Skyler and she could not have given him to anyone else. Again, we have been so blessed and been given the privilege of raising him. It amazes me that you can love something this much. I have no doubt that your mother felt the same about you!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing your story with me.

Kim,

Thanks I will keep that in mind while mulling this over, that is my big fear. I guess I am hoping that knowing the joy the new family will have would outweigh that.
