Guest guest
In case your doc says says to osteoporosis drugs I'd think he'd do a DEXA scan first (no pain!!!) and also recommend at 1500 mg of calcium a day either through supplements or diet or both. But....there is another drug besides fosamax call didronel. Does require empty stomach but you can lay down with it and......it's cyclical meaning every day for 2 weeks every 3 months. Ask for it first. Lelia from Colorado
Guest guest
Lelia... I'm on didronel. I find it really hard to remember to take it, though. It's hit or miss with me. I try to mark it on my calendar, but it seems it keeps slipping my mind. It upsets my stomach at times...maybe that's why I tend to " forget " to refill? Guest guest
Annette, have you tried using a calendar on your PC to send you appointment notices? Yahoo has a calendar feature and I've set it up to send me reminders of what pills I need to take when otherwise I'd be hopelessly lost! Lynn --- Annette Flamand wrote: > Lelia... I'm on didronel.
