Is he having other symptoms? I think I read today on the low oxalate list that unsatiable hunger was a dumping sign, but I was just skimming so I could have read it wrong... doh.Just wondering if their were other symptoms...

Hi there. My son usually doesn't have yeasty symptoms since we rotate between nizoral & diflucan...but, lately he is constantly hungry (and I think it something else to do with other than just hunger).  I have no idea what this is -- but it is driving me batty.  His teachers, friends and our family are starting to look at me like " Do you feed him? "  I read somewhere that this is a sign of systemic yeast... has anyone else heard of this -- or has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks :)

Hi

My son is also constantly hungry. He has been since he was a baby. At the outreach this year, we saw Dr Neubrander he is said he has hyperglycaemia, (low blood sugar, but not diabetic). He suggested 6 small meals during the day with protein at each meal. This is working great, are are also doing the the GAPS diet without the carbs.

It may be a growth spurt: mental or physical. If so he will likely be sleeping more too. Sent from my iPhone

, When our guy started going through these spurts ( usually last 3-4 days) I thought the teachers at school were feeding the whole class with what I was sending for snack. They asked if he was eating at home. I calculated what he ate in one day and it was close to 3500 calories. Six poptarts, 2-3 bags of popcorn, 4 hotdogs, 2 yogurts. Chicken ... He does sometimes get these yeast based cravings for tons of carbs ( my perception) but in growth spurts he eats anything in mass quantity. Not just carbs. He is also a light, thin child (59 lbs, 4'7") so it makes no sense except that his body just needs it. I hope this is helpful! Sent from my iPhone
