Guest guest
Eczema can be cleard up by taking Cod liver oil daily. We like Nordic Naturals CLO from Whole Foods or www.iherb.com Yeast shows up with silly giggling behavior, white tongue, red ring on anus, waking up at night and not being able to go back to sleep for hours and often aggressive behaviors. Guest guest
Hi Margaret, My daughter's case is very similar to your son's. She was diagnosed as PDD-NOS at 20 and as ASD at 3. She had several words at 20 months and them she lost all of them. She is now 4 and is low verbal with progress every day. We had done several treatments with her: antifungals, antibiotics (for Clostridia), MB12 shots, SCD diet, steroids and anti-inflamatories with Dr Krigsman, Enhansa, HBOT, some chelation using Andy Clutter and DAN protocols, IV Gluthathione, etc. She has been in intensive ABA since she was 21 months old. Until the beginning of this year the gains were modest and she did not keep them. At the end of last year she had some absent seizure activity that could explain losing skills. This year she started IVIG and after several infusions she started to be more stable (keeping gains, learning new words). We also modified her diet to reduce carbs and increase fat (similar to ketogenic diet) We did a round of 40 HBOT dives (Dr Neubrander protocol) during the summer and she started to connect 2-3 words. During the last months we have introduced several treatments: AIT, LDN, Namenda, Valtrex, Oxytocin and lately OLE and finally language is coming. She is learning new words, using functional language around the home ( " wash hands " " I want (several requests, actions and nouns), " Brush teeth " , " come on " , etc) and memorizing phrases from the books. I know it is not functional yet but at least it is speech. Just at the end of last year she had problems to pronounce a single word prompted so listening those small phrases from her is heaven. She has improved a lot socially and she smiles, look at other kids, and is starting to follow and copy them (after Oxytocin). When yeast is under relative 'control', she sits during circle time and pays attention to the story and sings some songs. Nasty tantrums are gone and she has learned a lot of self-care skills lately: Washing hands (even singing when doing so... so cute), she eats by herself mainly, takes jacket and shoes off (she says 'Jacket off'), and we're in progress with toilet training (we take her to the potty regularly or when there are signs of a BM and she waits until she finishes and says 'all done " ). When I'm cooking or working she is coming to me and looking to my face and makes silly faces to get my attention (similar to the silly faces I make her to get her attention). We are a long way to go but she in the way. I wanted to share it with you because my daughter was completely different at 3.5 and just this years things are starting to add-up. We started biomedical at 20 month and a very expensive ABA program that was broking us. We moved from FL to PA because here the state pays for intensive ABA. I know how hard is to give everything for them and implement several things and see slow progress and lose those gains later. The best treatments so far: IVIG, Valtrex, LDN, HBOT (Intensive), IV Glutathione and a strong anti-fungal protocol. We just started OLE last week so cannot give results about it yet. We'll re-start chelating at the end of this month. The signs of yeast in her are: stemming (flicking fingers, looking at the corner of the eyes, running from one place to the other non-stop, looking for deep pressure with her chin), low attention during the therapy, troubles with sleeping or waking up in the middle of the night, dark circles under the eyes, rash in the diaper area, licking hands or objects and very bloated tummy. Yeast is a constant battle here because several of the treatments we do cause yeast: IV Glutatione, anti-virals, etc This is the antifungal protocol we use (our daughter is 38 pounds) - DX Ketoconazole (we rotate Fluconazole, Itroconazole and Keto) - 24 mgs Biotin - GSE (15 to 30 daily depending of the severity of the yeast flare) - No phenol - Caprylic Acid - Custom Probiotics - Niacin - B3 - Candex (2-3 caps daily) - Undecylex - Alkaline-zed water - No sugar/honey, Low carb diet (mainly SCD with some potatoes) - keep Bowel moving with Fiber, Vitamin C, Magnesium or Aloe I hope it helps Mariluz > > Can anyone tell me what are some signs of yeast build up?
