RE: April Board of Health meeting rule packets now posted on Bure au's website

Stakeholders,

The Texas Board of Health acted on both of these rule packets today without

making any changes.

Proposal packet: We will let you know when these proposed rules are

published in the Texas Register marking the start of the 30 day comment

period. We estimate it will be published around May 1st.

Adoption packet: Staff will be working on updating the current rules

affected by the adoption packet on our website. The fee increases have an

implementation date of June 1, 2004. That means any application submitted

after May 31, 2004 must include the new fees. More information about this

will be included in the May/June issue of the EMS Magazine and on our

website soon. We strongly recommend that you check the website immediately

before you submit an application to be sure that you have the correct fee

included.

All - The proposed rules will be published in the Texas Register on April

30th. So, the comment period will run through May 30th.
