Guest guest
I completed my fist batch yesterday and am wondering - I've made homemade yogurt before (and have been eating yogurt my entire adult life), but this stuff is really tart! Did I do it right? Does the nut yogurt taste the same? I'll eat it, but I'm not sure I'm going to have a lot of success introducing it to my 3 yo! How does yogurt clean up off of wood floors? ;> AMK - mom to Will, PDDNOS, SCD 2 weeks

Try adding a little honey. It's surprising how the taste of the tart yogurt does grow on one ;-) How does yogurt > clean up off of wood floors? ;> You need a puppy. My dog loves SCD yogurt! Carol F. " I think you probably did do it right. It is very tart. My boys actually like it that way. But to sweeten it up, you can add cooked pureed fruit or you can add honey. As for your floor... if you think it's going to get dumped, you might try a big trash bag under the chair...LOL. Guest guest
Hi AMK, If it's tart then you made it right To help remove some of the tartness you can drip it (instructions at http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/beginners_guide/yoghurt/dripp ing_yoghurt.htm ) and then if still to tart add some honey and or fruit. Enjoy! Sheila UC, 20 years -- in remission after 39 mos SCD mom of SCD 24 mos yogurt my entire adult > life), but this stuff is really tart! Did I do it right? Does the > nut yogurt taste the same?
