Guest guest
wes has a bard button we found with the ones that have balloons at the end to keep them in place his stomach acid would pop them and we would have to replace way too often. the bard button has a mushroom at the end to hold it inplace. the Drs. said they didn't like to use it much because it hurts a little when they put it in. but it does stay in and so much fewer charges and visits. now we just change when the little plug part brakes which was once a year when we used it often its been longer then that with this one but we only use it for venting any more. its also nice because there is not much that shows and gets in the way with dressing and such. oh and wesley always cries when they change it for just a sec. then thanks the Dr for fixing it . hope you find what works best for you. Guest guest
Oh Krista, I can lend you my charge syndrome manual there is a section on tubes and buttons. Its short and only covers 2 types of tubes and mentions one button. You may prefer the button as it apperently allows for more mobility and stuff. I wont be able to swing up the mountain today but I can next week and drop it off. Chantelle

Guest guest
My son who is 7 has a mic-key button and has had it for 7 years. I know there was another company who makes a flatter button and I am trying to remember the name of the company. They are the ones who make a device to make sure the extension tube doesn't open, it is something like AMT I think is the name. We are happy with the mic-key button though. Guest guest
Chantelle; I have my own CHARGE Manual, and Ann dropped by yesterday and brought me some CHARGE pamplets and a couple of shirts. She put the other stuff in her car, and took the truck by mistake without realizing that the stuff was with her husband in the car. Thanks. Sincerely yours; Krista.
