What is the difference between Cytomel and sustained release T3 capsule?

Hello.

My doctor prescribes a sustained release T3 capsule which he says is the same as Cytomel. I thought I had read that there was a difference in the digestion of a T3 capsule and Cytomel. Does anyone have any experience with this?
