Guest guest
On the round table program this morning (Saturday), someone spoke of his recent experience with white rice, when he happened to be wearing a blood glucose testing monitor as part of a diagnostic procedure. This device monitored his bg constantly, and apparently worked in tangent with his insulin pump. But, one startling bit of information came about after he'd had a fairly large serving of white rice in which his blood sugar sky rocketed, before dropping off significantly a short time later. This might not have been observed had he not been on this monitor which monitors his bg constantly. He has sight, and he said the graph on the device shot up in what he said looked like some architectural masterpiece! So, be careful with that white rice if you happen to be one of those who enjoys it! Dave Visit: http://www.bardtalk.com and find answers to commonly asked questions concerning BARD.
