Guest guest
Chantelle: We received the following e-mail from a friend of ours who is Deaf. We had just purchased 2 for our use back in May - paid $75 each for the Sidekick itself, plus activation and first month.. Drat!! Should have waited. Oh, well. You might check out the noted website about qualifying for a FREE Sidekick. We just love them. They can be used as AOL Instant Messengers, e-mail, you can access the web, and we can even use the phone aspect. Most of our friends who have them (Deaf) just don't activate the voice portion. The AIM is too cool! It also lets you use a calendar that you can also access from your PC. Rick can then check the " master calendar " (mine) either through the PC at home, or through the web browser. Too cool for keeping our schedules coordinated. Friends in CHARGE, Marilyn Ogan Mom of Ken (14 yrs., ADD) and (11 yrs., CHARGE+) Wife of Rick oganm@... oganr@... Hi Everyone, My deaf friend ordered a FREE Sidekick/pager. All he did was just filled out online, then when he got the free Sidekick, he called them to take off the voice plan. That's it. Just pay $29.99 for per month and $35 to pay for activation for the first time. That's all you have to do. I filled out online myself this week! I am so excited about getting a free Sidekick/pager. Guest guest
Kay: Yes, the T-Mobile Sdekick is a cellular phone, as well as having all the other features. Rick and I have voice on our system as well as the other. Our Deaf friend was telling others to just cancel the voice portion of the plan because they are Deaf and would not be using it.
