Guest guest
: I agree with the other members concerning new foods, and the return of yeast. One thing of 's diet that stood out for me, cilantro. Cilantro is supposed to chelate metals from the body. I have read in another site that it can be dangerous. I'm no expert in this area by far, but read that adults taking this have aggravated certain conditions by consuming this often. I guess the metals move from one part of the body to another. If the organs and passages of excretion don't remove the metals, you may be causing more harm than good. That's my understanding. Maybe andrew knows more about this? Also, how did you treat the chicken pox? Liz, son (no diagnosis) SCD 6 mos.

Also to all : " I think one should be very careful of using coconut milk from green coconuts or coconut milk which is bought commercially. Also, are all the fruit sauces made at home? Guest guest
Hello Liz, I'll definitely cut down on the cilantro, it's just that I usually cooked with it even pre-scd. On the chicken pox we did absolutely nothing. n has just e-mailed me a suggestion that I'm definitely following. I'm just copying and pasting her mail. thanks n! Boy how many things could have gone wrong! I feel guilty for my poor little one, but now hopefully I can get her back on track. Thanks again to you all! Here's n's suggestion on the anti-virals , Yes, then one of my grandsons came down with a bout of CHicken pox in the October last year and I gave him the L-lysine, Vitamin C, Olive leaf extract, plenty of fluids and the Dr. McCandless 120,000 protocol for vitamin a water soluable palmitate retinol. Day 1: 120,000 iu (2.4ml) Day 2: 60,000 iu (1.2ml) Day 3: 60,000 iu (1.2ml) days 4-14 20,000 iu (o.4ml) I really believe in the Olive leaf extract as well you can dump it in drinks and use some of the buffered vitamin C and dump it in as well. We use a mixture of apple/pear juice and then 3/4 filtered water and dump the C and Olive leaf in it. They get about 4 of these drinks a day when their sick. I use 12mls liquid Olive leaf per day when their sick. You can make up one big container dump it all in together and put them in juice bottles. The L-Lysine is important for virals. take care hope she feels better soon. marion
