Chuck! Noooo!!! HUGS Akiba (missing you already) -- Leaving group It is only after a lot of thought that I have decided to leave the group. I very seldom post, and do not feel I have anything to contribute. I don't have a firm diagnosis of MS so can't really answer any questions, and don't want to just be a lurker. I will keep everyone of you in my prayers each night, and I will remain in the Health group. I am sad about doing this but feel it is something I should do. May each of you have many blessings in your lives.Blessings AlwaysChuckPS: nne will keep me up to date.

I agree with Shirley! I do have a Dx and believe me, you post more than I do! I just read through everthing and if I have an opinion on a topic, then I share. Most the time i don't because I am so new to MS that I don't have the knowledge some of the others have. All input counts, no matter how few of times it is offered by any one person! I don't know you like the rest of the group does, but I do know that I read your posts and have never thought, "hey, what is this guy doing here?" We need all the support we can get. I don't know your story, but if Shirley says you need our support reciprocated, then by gosh you are gonna get it!!! Tammy, TxShirley wrote: Chuck, I didn't get the original e-mail. I also don't have a diagnosis yet. The neurologist said his gut feeling

on me is no. I decided to stay with the group anyway. In just a few months

this group has become family and I have a place to ask advise when I am not

sure whether or not something might be MS symptoms. I don't post as often

as I was at first. This is getting into my busy season at work and I take

shorter lunch hours to get to one stop on my route while the machines are

turned off during lunch. Some days it is all I can do to read all the post

on the different email lists I am on during lunch. Don't worry about being

a lurker. Sometimes other subjects or other health problems will come up

that you might have helpful information on. Stay a while longer, you might

get an 'aha' moment that will help you.

Even not having a diagnosis yet, this group is willing to listen when you

get one of those bad days that everyone else around doesn't understand. A

good place to vent when needed so you can go on. We are not alone when we

stand together

Chuck,

I second that NO too.... this group isn't totally about "contributing information"... Well not MS information anyway.. that's what the partner group is for. This is a place where the family can get together, and be themselves. Share a joke, cry a little, laugh a lot, hold each other up when needed and be held up as well when needed...

THAT'S WHAT FAMILY ARE FOR!!!!!!!!

and we are family. I can sit in a room with people I love, and they don't have to say a word. I still know that they love me, and are there for me when I need them, or that I can be there for them when they need me.

We were brought together because of a common interest in Multiple Sclerosis. We have bonded together because of our unique interests and personalities. As a group, we are much like a flag waving in the wind... Today we might wave toward MS and the bad stuff, but in an hour we may wave in the direction of what foods turn us into gluttons.. Or what movie made us cry for hours.. Or which book kept us laughing the whole way through.. Or rotten stuff our kids have done recently.. or how the other half of our lives have managed to bend us soooooo out of shape that we want to pull our hair out by the roots... Or.. how one of our kids told the teacher his parents starved him... or in some cases how he's not allowed to play at the neighbors because they sell drugs.. or about the beautiful ships he builds...

Every atom of every conversation is important to someone in the group.. And we would so dearly miss you if you were to leave us... It would be like losing a close family member.

Please reconsider, and stay... even if you just lurk...
