Guest guest
Also, is this related to what Yasko says about balancing glutamate and GABA? Is Glutamate a source of glutamine? Glutamine is an excitoxin and it's in Mindlinx? http://www.dramyyasko.com/Publications/EFE50725-9744-4927-ABCE-CA2C5C540020.htm " First, I find that it is critical to remove excitotoxin triggers from the diet. This simply involves reading labels and closely monitoring food and supplement intake to avoid excitotoxins. Excitotoxins are neurotransmitters such as glutamate or aspartate that can excite the nerves to death when their levels are not regulated properly. Foods or supplements that contain excitotoxins include MSG (monosodium glutamate), glutamic acid, glutamine, nutrasweet, aspartate, aspartame, and cysteine. Mercury and aluminum can also serve to trigger glutamate release. " > > > > > > My local DAN! just told me that an imbalance in neurotransmitters can > > > contribute to OCD. Guest guest
Don't know, exactly. I compared our probiotic to the one used by a family I know. Their son also had more OCD; they used a different probiotic. There was an overlap of 3 things, as I recall, but can't find the post-it I wrote it down on.
