Guest guest
I can't imagine that either one of those supplements would cause this. Could it possibly have been something they both had eaten?? Something with food dyes?? Not sure what type of diet they are on? Occasionally my typical son will have a streak of blood across his stool, usually because his stool is very large and firm. This can irritate the lining of the intestinal tract as it makes its way through. Not sure if this helps, I am sure someone else will comment that may have more ideas. Blood in stools Hello, Â This morning both of my boys 7, 9, had blood in their stools. It wasn't much, just a streak. We see our DAN doctor for the first time next month. We have only started Fish Oil and Culturelle. I give them Culturelle at night before bed. Â They are not gluten and casein free and had yogurt and some dairy yesterday. What could this be from and I am assuming I should stop the Culturelle? Â Thanks.
Guest guest
My son as a young infant, had the same thing, even had colonoscopy, developed chronic ear infections, only to find out him and my next son are extrememly allergic to dairy/milk. It could also be intolerance to one of the supplements you are using. > > > I can't imagine that either one of those supplements would cause this. > Could it possibly have been something they both had eaten?? Guest guest
my guess is that the casein is irritating the gut lining and that's causing the bleed.nancy j. Help TACA win $50,000.
