I don't yet know why but have tried to reactivate our account. In the meantime I'll have to make a point to come here to the board and check on things. Thanks! Guest guest
, that's too bad about Elaine's being last! I went to the conference last year, and lots of the speakers were talking to people at length before and after their talks. I wonder if there's any way to get a message to Elaine that you'd like to meet her before her presentation, since you'll have to catch a plane, etc. Does she ever read the messages on this list? What about the Long Island list?

Guest guest
Elaine spent much time talking to people at the DAN! conference. I do not see why Autism One would be any different. Elaine, Lucy and I sat at the SCD booth for many hours during the DC DAN! conference. Elaine spoke to anyone who approached her. I spoke to TONS of parents as well. I believe that Elaine will have a booth at the Autism One conference as well. Lucy will also be there. I am not going to be able to attend unfortunately. I was really looking forward to going, but things are just not working out. As far as I know, Elaine will be there during the entire conference. She is not just flying in for Sunday. If anyone is still in need of a hotel room at the $139 rate, please e-mail me privately and I will see what we can do about transferring my room reservation to someone else. Elaine wrote the following: Tell that I will be available to talk to people on Saturday. I, also, hate the idea of being scheduled so late. I cannot control this. However, if writes to Ed Arrangua, he might allow me to have small meeting on Saturday in a private room. But will have to contact him. posted by Carol F. SCD 3 yrs.
