Guest guest
Try the folinic orally before adding it to the shots. Folinic made my son psychotic!! Kerrie I've heard that getting the b-12 with folinic acid in it helps reduce the hyperactivity. You might want to ask your DAN to prescribe it that way. Guest guest
How long have you been taking the MB12? For my son the hyperactivity stopped around 10-12 weeks after starting. Kerrie Has anyone noticed that MB12 makes their kid hyper,or is this just me?It's especially noticeable,if I am doing the MB12 and chelation. Guest guest
My son seems to be more hyper after receiving the shot, and he tends to wake very early on the mornings following the shot. We give folinic acid as a separate supplement. The hyperactivity is noticeable, but not unmanageable. I've heard that getting the b-12 with folinic acid in it helps reduce the hyperactivity. Guest guest
for us folinic was not tolerated and caused even more hyperactivity (and regression). we were told to start zinc monomethionine and folic acid (simple form) prior to re-trying mb12, and it worked. no hyperactivity. Guest guest
Yeast? or waking up the nerve endings? Hyper is okay, aggressive/mean is not, as far as I'm concerned. My kids were a little more active when I started it, then they leveled out, then they were aggressive/mean when they had too much and it was time to back down. Increase your yeast protocol (probiotics after meals and before bed) and Candex/Candidaise on an empty stomach between meals if needed (my suggestions)...epsom salt baths or magnesium for calming effect. Guest guest
Mb12 made my son incredibly hyper. He was literally bouncing off the walls. And waking for the day at 3am. He would start to calm down on the third day, which is when the next shot was due. We did a 60 day trial and couldn't do it anymore. There weren't any improvements so I couldn't see the point. Guest guest
The improvements I have are worth sticking with it,though. Guest guest
Yes, if your getting something out of it then stick with it. None of us could see any positive change in my son.
