The midnight ones seemed worse because they used to wake me up while she was nursing - perhaps it's because I was sleeping peacefully and then BAM! Anyway, they did subside after about 3 or 4 weeks. Nothing you can't make it through, but annoying nonetheless. & Kylie, still nursing at 20 months!

Guest guest
Sorry ladies with each consecutive baby the after pains get worse!!! It was just after Cody, 11mob, was born I resorted to taking 2 tylenol every 4 hours. Red rasberry leaf tea also helped. Hot baths too. But it goes a way in about a week. S. Mom to 5. Guest guest
Amy, Vicodin can really help with the pain, but it can make baby very sleepy and interfere with early nursing. Sounds liek she was a good size. I guess with all the BIG FAT baby's being born the Dr thought a normal size baby was little hehehe. I was excited to hear your birth was so cool. I don't think I woudl consider PIT pain medican more the opisote a pain MAKER As for the pain medican I wonder WHY they didn't give you a RX for anything stronger ther OTC stuff after I had my boy I got Hydrocondon (or whatever) and ti worked GREAT!!!! I even had a refil or two with it. Maybe I had to go back and ask for more but I know I had more then 1 bottle of it. Maybe you can go back to your OB and ask for some. It doesn't hurt the bay any. And I know it would make you feel better.
