Guest guest
My four week old has the same schedule too! He just eats a lot during the day and I try to play with him as much as I can so he sleeps at night. My 18 month old did the same thing and is now a happy healthy 38 lber! I think its just important that you monitor their diaper count, weight and overall behavior...and then enjoy your sleep. Enjoy it while it lasts! She wised up to the fact that it was more fun to wake up every two hours after that and still wakes frequently at eight months although we now co-sleep which helps. Guest guest
Kriss~ started sleeping through the night at 7-8 weeks too, he would sleep 10 hours from that age until teething set in at about 5 months when he starting the night wakings again.......... I would not worry too much about it.... Also, my son did sleep alot after my mom visited too, guess they need to catch up cause their schedule is a little off when you have company!! Guest guest
Thanks guys! YOu are making me feel better, she obviously is not pooping as much as she was during her growing spurt, but she is having around6-8 dirty diapers and atleast that in wet diapers. OK will take it as a good thing. At 7 weeks she weighed 10 lbs 4 oz, so since she left the hospital at 7 lbs 2 oz and only gained by her two week 6 oz, she was 7 12 when she was born, so I think we are doing fine! Except we wanted to be awake all night long! lolol THANKS! They begin to become so aware of the world during the day that they don't get enough good, full nursings in. At night, there is nothing better to do than wake up and nurse (by the baby's mind) - I mean, nothing else interesting is happening, right? And they end up needing those night feedings to get enough nourishment in a 24 hr period. I have really noticed KArissa's daytime nursings diminish in frequency and duration while she has definately picked up her night nursing. -- Kissaluvs Slings, Diapers and Clothing for the cloth-diapered baby http://members.spree.com/business/2pink1blue
