Debra -

Is there wetness from the retching? If so, perhaps a bedwetting alarm

could be placed where it would detect it.

Hugs and prayers,

Debbie

Debra,

Is there any way to attach a vibrator to the apnea monitor? It might serve 2

purposes: one the monitor going off and alerting Tryny and two, it might

stimulate him enough that you wouldn't have to.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I am new to this site. I was informed at my 2 month old's birth that our 2

year old had CHARGE (already had been suggested, never confirmed). Withing

several weeks we moved to San Diego (military). Once here, I was researching

CHARGE when I found this group.

Debbie,

Is there any type of alarm that you could attach to his person that will

sound if he retches i.e. takes to deep a breathe, muscles contracts a different

way?

When our now 2 year old first came home after his first heart surgery and no

monitors, I was scared to death he'd die before I could get to him if he quit

breathing. I can't imagine the fear of losing your son to this ulcer because

there isn't anything to help you know when he is retching. I pray that

someone will have an answer or suggestion that will work.
