My number today was 401, down from 519. It's not coming down as fast as my

doctor (or me!) would like. We're talking about more methotrexate. This is

just so frustrating. I'm glad I have a wonderful group to blow off steam

with here. You gals are the greatest!

My understanding was 15% every three days. Chin up, we're all in the same

boat here. Keep asking your doctor questions until you get answers that

satisfy you.

Can you please give me an idea about how the numbers of the hcg levels go

down. My doctor isn't really satisfying me with answers. I had the

methotrexate on 7/4. I don't know what my numbers were then. I was five weeks

.. My level on 7/12 was 7,545 and on 7/13 they were 6,800. I don't know if

this is extremely high or normal and if it is suppose to decrease so slowly.

This is torture for me. My doctor doesn't give me straight answers. I fell

like I am living in a constant nightmare, waiting for the bomb to explode.

Can anyone help?

After the first shot your HCG should go down 15% to be considered

successful. My HCG actually went up after my first set. I had another

set. Then had weekly HCG tests after that. It was very slow from

there. Every week it would go down half. It took 9 weeks to resolve

to zero. I know for Kim it took even longer.

My doctor told me that your chance of miscarriage is higher because you

haven't given your body enough time to regenerate a healthy lining.

Emperus,

This topic has been brought up before but I can't help but wonder if I had

waited longer after my ectopic if I wouldn't have had the miscarriage. I

had my ectopic in June and got pregnant again in Sept. but I don't think my

body was ready to take care of a new life again so soon.

Just my input.

Take care,

Dawn
