Otherwise it may not be necessary. If you cut out all fruits and honey I'd be concerned that the body is not getting enough food energy to heal itself. Guest guest
Thanks Sheila! No, I have not tried the free-range eggs. I have tried the cage free, is that the same? But they were not specifically antibiotic and hormone free eggs. I thought maybe those would be better tolerated myself. Do you think so? I don't think it was a virus, since it was so similar to his previous reactions to eggs. I only gave him the yolk, yet in some pancakes, I put the whole egg. Is it possible to use just the yolk in a recipe that calls for an egg? I was wondering myself if I should cut out honey from my diet for now. It seems that after taking some antibiotics for a staph infection, my fibromyalgia seems worse, more backpain in the a.m. I wonder if I got candida overgrowth myself. What would help this? Thanks! I tolerate free range eggs much better than store bought eggs. I think eggs can be from free range chickens but they aren't necessarily from antibiotic and hormone free chickens. >I don't think it was a virus, since it was so similar to his previous >reactions to eggs. I think some have used just the yolks plus a little water instead of whole eggs. I believe most people are sensitive to the egg whites if they have trouble with eggs. >I was wondering myself if I should cut out honey from my diet for >now. If on antibiotics taking probiotics also often helps. Take the probiotics 2 hours apart from the antibiotic. The probiotic can take the form of yogurt (cow, goat or nut) or probiotic capsules/ powder. To get a head start in flushing out the baddies you could go back to the intro diet for a day or two. If that isn't sufficient, you could try reducing honey and fruits to see if that helps.
