Here is what my son is taking in regards to Vitamin A.

1. Klaire Lab Mycellized Vitamin A: 2 drops (1 drop = 5,000 IU Vitamin A)

2. Carlson's CLO: 2 teaspoons (1 teaspoon = 850 IU Vitamin A)

3. Kirkam Children's Chewable Multivitamin/Mineral Wafers: 2 wafers = 2500 IU

Vitamin A

From our testing (Zyto testing and Electro Dermal Testing), that the measles and

mumps are cleared. There is a little Rubella left (9.0 on a scale of 10.0) (The

closer to 10.0 the more the virus has cleared).

I am still waiting for blood titers. Don't know how much stock to put in the

blood titers though.

Maybe, I am confused. Does the Vitamin A help combat Rubella also or just

measles?

My son is 40 lbs, and we did the high-dose Vitamin A in Dec 2009.

vit A doesn't do anything for rubella, only RUBEOLA which is measels.

carlelsons CLO also has soy in it just a side note which has made many kids react to those brands

that is to much vit A from someone with out measels issues

Dr. and Dr. G are not at all affiliated. The protocols are basically the same although Dr. has different diet opinions. I believe Dr. went to train in Dr. G's office for a year. I'm not positive on that, though.

Have you heard of Dr. Bruce and his relationship to Dr. G's protocol? I was told Dr. and the NNYAutismClinic are using the Dr. G protocol.

We have him on Nystatin right now. He was on GSE for a while and the really got "rid" of his yeast. Then the DAN doctor wanted him on Diflucan but that seemed like it was not working well for him. He was very constipated and his liver enzymes we elevated. So she put him on Nystatin. I just don't think the Nystatin is doing the trick. I am waiting it out for a couple more weeks and observing his behavior but I think we'll need something a little stronger. Yes. You really can't do it very successfully without an antifungal. If you had to take him off Diflucan, my suggestion would be to try Nizoral and keep a close eye on liver function.

Nystatin will not be strong enough. It's non-systemic. Yes, Nizoral will go through the liver. Any systemic antifungal will but that doesn't mean that all systemic antifungals will raise liver enzymes. But if you know Diflucan will, then try another. Also, add Milk Thistle to help the liver.
