Guest guest
Ciao maria, Comme Stai? Did you experience the diarreah from the Flagyl or the Diflucan? The flagyl usually gives the diarreah (i just finished a 3 day course, my dan wouldn't let me do longer then that) I, myself, started the Valtrex (my son just turned 4) with my son and added the MB12 shot to it. I stopped because I didn't have the Diflucan in place yet and needed to treat the yeast issue that Valtrex and MB12 presented. I am restarting it next week Monday , so I'll know then. When I did do the 5 days of Valtrex, my son didn't get any diarreah but he did get rashes on his face so I am not sure if the diarreah is "normal " or not with Valtrex. Do you have a Dan in italy? Da dove sei? Talk to your doctor if the diarreah continues because he could be dehydrated. I give my son Epson Salt baths since his Dan told me that it would help with the die off (mix of Eson Salt and Baking soda). Hope this little helps monica Dear all, I'm a mom from Italy, newbye of this group. My son 3,5 years old, cfgfsf diet since June 2009, under chelationDMPS since November 2009 (for high levels of Mercury) , we begun on 27th of March Generic Valtrex (Genvir, same ingredient) and following day from taking my son begun 3-4 diarrhea per day.Other sympthoms : echolalia (it was disappeared for long time),some stereotypes, whims, troubles in behaviour, hyperacivity and more troubles to fell asleep.we're using also Diflucan as antifungals. We're worried especially by tose diarrheas (we end 10 days ago a treatment con Flagyl). We wish some advices ... is this diarrhea normal ?Do you have reports of other kids treated at this age with Valtrex ?thenks for help... any advice is much appreciated.God bless youmaria

Guest guest
My son started at the same age, maybe a month or two younger. He's 6 now and still on it.Die off is tough. Everything you're describing is pretty typical die off behavior. It should be over in a week or two although some have seen die off last for up to 2 months (that's more rare).I doubt it's the Genvir causing the diarrhea but it could be. I've never used the generic and it could be something they're using as a filler in it that's causing the problem. Guest guest
Dear , in the past Diflucan and Flagyl didn't give any problem. We started generic Valtrex alone (no dan prescription), while Mb12 shots, chelation and supplements are prescribed by our Italian dan doc. We're using Epson salts every day with his bath. We live in Padova, not far from Venice (about 30 Km)... He's showing a little darker spot on his face but I'm not sure if it's a rush .... I'm worried and don't know if I wanna go on with Valtrex ?? Thanks for help, I appreciate .. > > Ciao maria, > Comme Stai? > Did you experience the diarreah from the Flagyl or the Diflucan? > The flagyl usually gives the diarreah (i just finished a 3 day course, my > dan wouldn't let me do longer then that) > I, myself, started the Valtrex (my son just turned 4) with my son and added > the MB12 shot to it. > I stopped because I didn't have the Diflucan in place yet and needed to > treat the yeast issue that Valtrex and MB12 presented. > I am restarting it next week Monday , so I'll know then. > When I did do the 5 days of Valtrex, my son didn't get any diarreah but he > did get rashes on his face so I am not sure if the diarreah is " normal " or > not with Valtrex. > Do you have a Dan in italy? Guest guest
Thanks Cheryl, Me too I had some suspects about the generic one .. I've asked for the whole list of ingredients as I'd like to confront them with the original one and , in case, reorder the original .. I must admit that my son has always suffered a bit from diarreha ... Thanks again for suggestions.. P.S Do you see still positive effects after 3 years of Valtrex ?? Take care, maria > > > Dear all, I'm a mom from Italy, newbye of this group. > > My son 3,5 years old, cfgfsf diet since June 2009, under chelation > > DMPS since November 2009 (for high levels of Mercury) , we begun on 27th of March Generic Valtrex (Genvir, same ingredient) and following day from taking my son begun 3-4 diarrhea per day. > > Other sympthoms : echolalia (it was disappeared for long time), > > some stereotypes, whims, troubles in behaviour, hyperacivity and more troubles to fell asleep. > > we're using also Diflucan as antifungals. > > We're worried especially by tose diarrheas (we end 10 days ago a treatment con Flagyl). > > > > We wish some advices ... is this diarrhea normal ? > > Do you have reports of other kids treated at this age with Valtrex ? > > > > thenks for help... any advice is much appreciated. > > > > God bless you > > > > maria > > > > >
