Guest guest
I saw an article this morning about this transplantation web site www.MatchingDonors.com . At first it seemed wierd to me, because it provides a " matching " service for organ donations (much like a dating service) But if it helps one person, obtain the organ they need, its a good thing. There is a fee to post your " profile " as someone who needs an organ. Its fairly new, and there is some good information, and links. Guest guest
Where I live, one of the criteria for the transplant committee to approve an unrelated kidney donor is a demonstrated long-standing relationship with the recipient (to discourage the kidney sales trade). Not sure how this kind of matching service would work under those circumstances. Guest guest
I can understand that! I must say that the fact the website profits out of this doesn't appeal to me and I would question the motivation of many people to transplant to someone they don't know - I suspect it would be financial!! transplantation web site > I saw an article this morning about this transplantation web site > www.MatchingDonors.com .
