Guest guest
>How much T4 in synthetic thyroid is typically converted to T3 in the body? I'm wondering how much T3 my body was used to getting over the 10 years that I was on levothroid. Thanks for answering as I know it's been discussed over and over. > in CA I've heard figures of between 50% and 80% Nick
Guest guest
Thanks, Nick, but I guess I was asking more specifically how many mcg of T3 total, would be converted. I'm not really a math person so not sure how many mcg (range) of T3 would be equal to 112 mg of levothroid in my body. Thanks again! in CA > > >How much T4 in synthetic thyroid is typically converted to T3 in the body? I'm wondering how much T3 my body was used to getting over the 10 years that I was on levothroid. Guest guest
that is SO individual and depends on so many things ther can be no answer. It will depend on your cortiosl, your body temp, your activity and your pituitary finction. And how much selenium you have and how the whole converion system is working. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
OK. Still just trying to figure out if I need less thyroid than most people. I did pretty well on just 112 mg of levothroid for 10 years (other than lower energy than I would have liked). But I guess the best way to guage that is to keep taking my temps and watch my symptoms.
