Guest guest
Hey Everybody!!! My name is Markham, I'm 23 (and a half) years old 20, My e-mail address is CmacyM@..., I live in Chesapeake, Virginia, But I'm originally from Chicago, Illinois (born and raised), I'm POST-OP two and a half weeks. Info: I work full-time for TWA and I travel often (tomorrow as a matter of fact!). I used to be a flight major (I was going to be a pilot), but I changed to an Animal Science major last year (now I'm going to be a veterinarian). I don't have any kids, but hope to one day. I'm hoping for a husband first. I do have a cat if that counts though! Her name is Runway. She's obese too!

Guest guest
Great idea, Tara Lynn! I'm Lydia Modert. My e-mail is ldmodert@.... I'm 27 yrs old, 5'9 " , 330 lbs, BMI of 50, and a pre-op (hopefully May!). I'm married (for 7 yrs) to a super, hard-working, young--Newman-ish man who is nervous but very supportive about my surgery. We have a hilariously funny 14 month daughter named . We live in Cary, NC (about 20 minutes southeast of Durham). We spent most of our lives in the Columbia, SC, area, until moving here for his job last May. We love it here! Our insurance is Humana, NC/SC, and hopefully, paved the way for me to not have the problems she did getting approved. The language in the book does provide for treatment for morbid obesity, so....let's hope....but we haven't heard anything yet. I'm at SAHM who also takes care of a couple of 6/7 year olds part-time. Guest guest
My name is Janie Whitford and I'm post-op. I had the surgery 25 Mar 99 and have had no complications. I was one of the lucky ones. Ask any questions and I'll try to answer. I weighed 10 Apr 99 and am down 29 pounds. IT FEELS GREAT. I'm 48, married with one daughter age 21. I had no problems with my insurance. I have Mail-Handlers. I went to school in a little town called ville, Missouri which is 10 miles from Sedalia where I waited for years for Clint Eastwood to show up on a round-up cause he was on the series Rawhide and the cattle drives were all headed for Sedalia. Funny thing, he never showed. Go figure. One thing we all agree on is Dr. R. is the greatest. I'm feeling really great. I've had hunger pains but drink something and they go away. > tarapfs - boobie > > tricks! > > > > > > > > > > > > >HA-HA - I can do that with my boobs - among other > > >things! Guest guest
Hi I'm Janet Sferrella and I don't live far from you Tara. I live in a little town called Bel Alton, land. About 13 miles north of the Harry Nice Bridge on the land side if that helps you any. I'm married and have four children. I was recently verbally denied my pre-authorization request. BlueCross BlueShield of MD keeps promising me a denial letter but neither me nor Dr. Rutledge have received a darn thing. They verbally denied me on March 23 and again today, April 12. I have everything else ready. I'm a PC Applications Specialist with the MIS Department of County Government (aka-computer software/hardware help desk for network users). I'm 5'5 " and weigh 297lbs. My BMI is 49. I thoroughly enjoy this group and the support offered. I look forward to learning more about everyone hear. Thanks for doing the Roll Call. A friend in land, Janet (Two months into the fight with BCBS of MD). Tara Lynn Dimirsky wrote: > > > There are so many of us here now -I was wondering if > we could do a simple roll call. Guest guest
(psgreer@...) Pam Greer here. E-mail comes up as Paam OK with me to keep it that way (at least I know which Pam we're talking about).....unless of course Paam's not here one day and one of her alter egos is........Never mind, I digress, back to roll call stats: Age: 45 until 8-10-99. Married (happily, me anyway...I'm afraid to ask him....) oh well, he can't afford to divorce me, no way he could pay all that child support for 2 teenagers, , 17 & Chelsey, 16 1 ours, 1 unofficially ours) and 6 poodles. Nor could we ever decide on who would get custody of which poodle....I guess if we ever get really unhappy with each other he can move upstairs and I'll live downstairs..... MGB 1-4-99. Pre-op weight 314. As of 4-8-99 253, down 61 lbs. or 34.8% of goal....sounds so much more impressive figured that way. Goal of 175 (I'm not selfish....much) State Employees BC/BS of NC approved within 2 weeks of submission. Hoping to return to work in county school system this fall. On leave from my Vocational Guidance Counselor position due to health problems, not all weight related, but certainly weight aggravated. I am becoming an e-mail junkie and it's all y'alls fault!!!!! We have entirely too good a time on here....we should try to be more boring (not!)...somedays the " hoisting by my bootstraps " y'all do for me and the laughs we share (fishing stories & broken chairs anyone....) are all that keep me sane....at least I think I'm sane...wait a minute let me ask my other selves......they'll get back to me later they're watching Magnum PI reruns....(if you're under 30 never mind, you won't know who Tom Selleck is unless you saw him on a couple of Friends episodes). It's my turn to pick TV stations tonite.....Ally McBeall here I come....... Someone asked me the other day why I had 6 poodles.....I told them it was because my husband wouldn't let me have 7. They are enjoying my diet the most....leftover heaven. I am a transplanted Louisianian whose been in NC since 1980 when hubby (Bobby) got out of service. He brought me home in October, through Asheville and the mountains with all their fall colors and I was hooked...... I'll quit now...this is turning into a biography instead of stat list. Does anybody know how to stash these stats in a single file or archive somewhere so we can refer back to them. What about the e-circles page? MGB 1-4-99, Pre-op wt. 314, Current Wt. as of 4-8-99 253 lbs. Down 61 pounds or Roll Call - can we list some stats? > > >Roll call huh .. what to say?
