Guest guest
LOL!!! I'm not sure Sharon. When I found out I had Reynauds I was still very young. My hands, knees, feet, elbows, and around my mouth turned blue. Freaked my Mom right out. For a while I was wearing these shiny gloves kind of like !!! My sister has the same thing. Now I'm wondering how that will effect this Purpura Simplex. I'm guessing it won't make it any better, just worse. As I type now, my hands are cold. I'll be wearing gloves in the house by the end of the month I think!!! Oh well. I want to thank you for the lovely sympathy card you sent to our family. It really makes a difference to know that so many people truly care in a time of need. Hugs, Peggy -- In MSersLife , Sharon Marsden wrote: > > I have cold toes. Guest guest
You are welcome for the card, Peggy. I'm sorry it took me so long to send it. I did a quick search of Reynauds and Purpura Simplex and it seems there may be a connection but I didn't go any further. Do you have dry mouth and eyes? Sharon This email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects. Guest guest
I've never really noticed before, but I guess I'm thirsty alot. I drink during the day and at night, not overly thirsty, but I have something with me all the time and I wake up and have something by my bed. As for my eyes, not usually. Does that have anything to do with Reynauds or Purpura? I jsut talked to the nurse at the neuro's office and she is pulling my chart to see and talk to the nurse pratictioner since the doc is on vacation and he doesn't have any appts. until after the first of the year and I don't want to wait that long. Seems he is only in the office 2-3 times a week as he is also a professor and does research as well. Figures!!! The other neuros there have some training in MS but aren't specialists. He does have the NP so I'm hoping to see her but she is backed up since my previous neuro left so who knows. I just didn't know if I should continue with the Copaxone or not since I'm one giant oval of a bruise on the underside of both of my arms. What would I be put on if not Copaxone? I jsut got off of Avonex and that didn't work, made me worse!!!
Guest guest
Hi Peggy I wish you didn't have trouble with your Copaxone it sounds like other than the swelling you must be doing well with it. You seem to be able to take your shots well now. The bad thing about Copaxone is that some don't do well with it. I am allergic to penicillin and you might be to Copaxone or what ever it is made of. Bill Re: Peggy -- Back from the Neuro/Sharon I've never really noticed before, but I guess I'm thirsty alot. I drink during the day and at night, not overly thirsty, but I have something with me all the time and I wake up and have something by my bed. As for my eyes, not usually. Does that have anything to do with Reynauds or Purpura?I jsut talked to the nurse at the neuro's office and she is pulling my chart to see and talk to the nurse pratictioner since the doc is on vacation and he doesn't have any appts. until after the first of the year and I don't want to wait that long. Seems he is only in the office 2-3 times a week as he is also a professor and does research as well. Figures!!! The other neuros there have some training in MS but aren't specialists. He does have the NP so I'm hoping to see her but she is backed up since my previous neuro left so who knows.I just didn't know if I should continue with the Copaxone or not since I'm one giant oval of a bruise on the underside of both of my arms. What would I be put on if not Copaxone? I jsut got off of Avonex and that didn't work, made me worse!!!Hugs,Peggy> > > > > >> > > > > > And happy with the visit. )> > > > > > > > > > > > Of course I can't remember what went where or why, but I have > > > the > > > > > gist of it locked deeply in my brain. rofl> > > > > > > > > > > > As said of Neuro after the visit, "sometimes it's hard > > to > > > > > know what he's saying, because it's hard to understand what > > he's > > > > > saying".
Guest guest
Peggy have you been checked for diabetes? Guest guest
Peggy have you been checked for diabetes? Guest guest
Peggy have you been checked for diabetes?
