Do you still give valtrex if your child gets sick with cold/strep throat?

If your child gets sick do you stop valtrex? My son has been on it for over a

year and has gotton a cold/strep throat virus?Any help greatly

appreciated.

Yes! Never stop giving an antiviral unless directed, you must be consistent with them.
